But this isn't about that. Last week, on July 7, 2021, my family's dog, February (also known as Feebi), passed away. She was a bright and loving Corgi brought into our lives by my sister back in the mid-2000s. She definitely loved her walks and running circles around us at the local tennis court. As of 6pm tonight, I have been released from the hospital after an emergency appendectomy surgery. At around 6:30AM yesterday, I woke up with severe stomach cramps/pain. I ended up having to leave work early after I had to run to the bathroom to puke. Had to get tested for COVID just in case - came back negative, by the way. So throughout the day, I was writhing in pain on my bed, thinking it was a nasty stomach bug or something. When my sister got home, seeing me in the state I was in, she told me I had to go the ER. Funny enough, so did the tele-nurse I was talking to. Got to the hospital around 7:30PM, where I had to wait in a freezing waiting room. Got checked into a room at around 9ish. After an assortment of tests, I was given the news at midnight, appendicitis. 2:30AM rolled around, I get wheeled up to surgery prep. I joke you not, the last thing I remember was breathing through an oxygen mask and then coming to with a nurse asking me if I wanted water, ice chips, and how my
